He co-directed the low-budget boxing melodrama “Leather Gloves” with Cameron Mitchell and Richard Quine. Soon after, Asher switched his focus to television and began to produce and direct movies. He directed several episodes of Big Town and Racket Squad, and even made his directorial debut on a television series called “I Love Lucy.”
A California native, Asher received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dartmouth College. He also went on to earn his MBA from the University of Southern California. He owns several nightclubs and bars and has an interest in fantasy sports gaming. A background in finance and administration helped him become an entrepreneur. His current projects include developing thermodynamic models of secondary organic aerosols and modeling the fate and cycling of volatile organic compounds in lakes and rivers.
